Meet Rick Kinney CLTC®
Richard (Rick) Kinney began his career in the Financial Industry in Life insurance sales in 1982.
Rick advanced to a management position in 1985 in Greenwood, SC. He became the “fix it” manager by taking over offices in Augusta, Greenwood, SC, Macon, Ga and finally Columbia SC where he decided to make his home. After 21 years of Corporate work Rick realized his passion was helping individual families reach their financial goals and became an independent advisor. In 2005, Rick began to focus specifically on assisting pre-retirees and retirees.
Rick has his series 65 license and serves as an Investment Advisor Representative with Trek Financial, LLC, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ. He also holds Life & Health licenses in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Texas and California.
Rick graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1980 with a degree in History. He has added to his education with much training through the years such as The Life Underwriting Training Council, The Estate Plan by Henry Abts, Social Security Timing, Ed Slott IRA training and most recently he became Certified in Long Term Care.
Richard has been married for 16 years to his beautiful wife Kristy who is a Nurse Practitioner for the Veterans Administration.
They reside in Irmo, SC.
