Meet Michael S. Trent, CRPC® CLTC®
Michael S. Trent’s career in the Financial Services Industry began while in the US Army, where he served from 1983 to 1996. The Army is famous for the fact that they like to “Hey You” soldiers into duties they didn’t sign up for. In 1992, the Army said, “Hey You, you’re going to be the Battalion Tax Advisor.” After serving in the role as a VITA advisor (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), Michael realized his gift for making complicated financial matters simpler. This duty eventually led him to a career in the Financial Services Industry.
Michael holds the Series 65 securities license. He serves as an Investment Advisor Representative with Trek Financial, LLC., headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ. He also holds Life & Health licenses with the states of South Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Michael received his CRPC designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2008. This course focuses strictly on retirement planning concepts.
Michael developed a planning software called The BetaBlueprint in 2006 after years of using other programs that were too complicated. He needed a software which was easy for CLIENTS to understand. After years of personal success with The BetaBlueprint in 2012 he turned it into a cloud-based software any advisor could use. Michael now has advisors across the country using his system to help their clients!
Michael is a family man. He has been married for 33 years to his wife Peggy and they have 8 children and 8 grandchildren, with grandchild on the way.
